the Grand International Competition for Preservation of the Holy Qur’an at the Jamiu Zinjibar Mosque in Mazizini, Western Unguja Region.

On March 15, 2024, the construction of the J.P Magufuli Bridge (Kigongo – Busisi) and its connecting road, which spans 3.2 kilometers and 1.66 kilometers respectively, was reported to have reached 85% completion.

The bridge and road will connect the Usagara – Sengerema – Geita highway in Lake Victoria, located in the Mwanza region.
