The Ministry of Construction, through the Roads Agency (TANROADS), has been instructed by the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Infrastructure to oversee the construction of the Noranga-Itigi road (25 km) and the Doroto-Noranga road (6 km) by the contractor CHICOensuring that the construction is completed to the required standard with an asphalt surface.- 1

The Standing Committee of Parliament for Social Welfare and Development inspected the renovation of the College of Vocational Training and Rehabilitation for People with Disabilities in Luanzari, Tabora. The infrastructure had deteriorated, rendering the college unusable for about twenty years. The committee members ensured that the report was objective and free from any subjective evaluations.- 1

A twin house for teachers at Fulano Secondary School in Shiloleli District has been constructed using 100 million shillings from the Central Government through the SEQUIP Project.The project has enabled the teachers to find better housing and reduce the distance they have to travel to reach their workplace.- 1

The two-day Working Session of Senior Prison Service Officers was opened by the Commissioner General of the Prison Service (CGP), Mzee Ramadhani Nyamka, on March 11, 2024, in the Conference Hall of the Military Headquarters in Msalato, Dodoma. During the session, CGP Nyamka requested that participants listen carefully and contribute to the topics presented by the various presenters. The Twin House Project was built for the employees of the Department of Agriculture and Livestock in Shiloleli Ward, using 88.31 Million Shillings from the Council's internal revenue source. The project provides a better and safer living environment for the employees. Similarly, the Mwilima Dispensary in Kanyala Ward was constructed using 50 Million Shillings from the Central Government and 60 Million Shillings from Local Council Revenue. Upon completion, this clinic will provide health services near the homes of 1,734 citizens residing in Mwilima Street and its surrounding areas.- 1
