The Secretary General of the Revolutionary Party (CCM), Ambassador Dr Emmanuel John Nchimbi, is pleased with the training of women political leaders in the country coordinated by the Tanzania Women's Union (UWT). "It is clear that this training will increase your capacity in your political activities which will strengthen our CCM party and our nation as a whole," Dr Field said. "Let me congratulate the Chairperson of UWT Taifa Our Mother Comrade Mary Pius Chatanda for the great work she is doing in coordinating this training and other activities that will strengthen the UWT community and our CCM party". Dr Nchimbi said this on the 9th of April 2024 during the training for women political leaders held at the NEC Dodoma Hall.- 1

TARURA has strengthened the road network in the coastal region and opened up the economy to the people in general. The coastal region has a total road network of 5,140 km, of which 95 km is asphalt, 1,100 km is gravel and 3,945 km is Murum.- 1

The Director of Information and Chief Government Spokesperson, Mr Mobhare Matinyi, visited the area where the Urban and Rural Roads Agency (TARURA) is expected to start preparations for the implementation of the Msimbazi Basin Development Project, which will cost about Sh660 billion. The Minister of Water Hon. Jumaa Aweso has launched the Chumbi Ward Water Project in Rufiji District, Coastal Region. This project will benefit all three (3) villages in the ward which are rooms A, B and C. The beneficiaries of the project are a total of 8664 people.

Mpanda District Police Station in Katavi Region, Assistant Inspector Sheila Soud has urged the people of Tambuka Railway Village to avoid selling and using drugs as it is dangerous to their health and also causes the nation's strength to diminish. She said this on 04 April 2024 when he visited the village and educated the people, especially against acts of violence and sexual abuse of children. She also asked the villagers to stop taking the law into their own hands and to make safe arrests and provide information quickly to the police stations so that the law can be taken against the criminals.- 1
