The Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Dr. Philip Mpango, addresses participants at the opening of the 10th Conference of the Federation of Institutions of Internal Auditors in Africa (AFIIA)

at the Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC).

Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa apologised to the people of Chumbi Ward in the Rufiji Coastal District when he inspected the effects of flooding in various areas of the Rufiji Coastal Region.

To date, 740 survivors are in the camp.

This brings benefits like the ones we got in Tunduma when we work on them and if necessary do better than Tunduma” Dr Linda Salekwa visited Tunduma

The Deputy Minister in the Office of the Vice President (Union and Environment) Hon. Khamis Hamza Khamis visited and inspected the flood affected areas in Muhoro village,

Rufiji district in the Coast region and offered moral support to the people affected by the floods.

The Makongo Ward Councillor, who is also the Deputy Mayor of Kinondoni Municipality, Mr Joseph Rwegasira, visited the construction site of Changanyikeni Secondary School

to see for himself the speed of construction and the progress being made.
